Seven operators name the papers they may want, five give you a fixed time to send them, and each of those five says what happens when the time runs out. All of it is in the terms before you deposit.
Casino KYC documents are rarely exotic. A photo ID, something with your address on it, now and then a selfie or a call: the lists in these terms overlap far more than they differ. What does differ, and sharply, is the time you are given once a request arrives, and what the operator is allowed to do if that time passes.

Where the papers come in
A check can start at sign-up, at a moment the operator picks, before a payout or once a sum is reached. Whatever opens it, the next step is the same: an email or a cashier message asking for documents, and from that point your side of the process is running. That is why the request itself, not the trigger, is where preparation pays off.
The triggers have their own pages. Clauses that open a check with no reason given sit on one, and the sums written into the terms on another. Here the question starts once the request is in your inbox: what do they want, by when, and what if it is late.

Who names what
Seven operators set out an actual list. In rank order, with Vave last:
- Bitcasino.io (6.5): an ID bearing your photo, a document confirming the address, your debit card copied, and something establishing that the payment instrument is yours.
- Rocketpot (11.8): an ID copy and a passport, plus a signature produced by the wallet used for one of your early deposits.
- Wild Fortune (8.4, 9.3, 9.5, 11.2): either a passport or a driving licence; an address document; evidence tying the payment method to you; a live call by phone; and, for papers outside the Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, a check over video.
- Rainbet (20.1): a state-issued photo ID, occasionally front and back; a picture of you holding that ID; a fresh utility bill for the address; and a call to confirm.
- Bitsler (4.3 and 4.4): ID on every occasion; at times a bill or bank extract up to three months old with the corners in frame.
- Thunderpick (21.1): an ID from a government, a document showing where you reside, and answers to security questions.
- Vave (8.7): you photographed with your ID in your hand, or the same shot plus a handwritten note showing Vave's site name and the current date; beyond that a phone call, and sometimes a live video call.
Two things stand out. Every list begins with a photo document, so that is the one paper worth checking for an expiry date today. And proof of ownership of the payment method appears at both Bitcasino.io and Wild Fortune, which matters most for anyone who funded the account in more than one way.
Two steps that are not paperwork
Rocketpot's wallet signature (11.8). Besides the ID and passport, Rocketpot may ask you to sign a message with the wallet behind an early deposit. In general terms, a signed message shows control of an address without moving any coins from it. It only works if you still hold that wallet, so an exchange account or a wallet you have since discarded can leave you unable to answer. Wild Fortune's video check. Where your papers are not in Latin or Cyrillic script, Wild Fortune names a video check in addition to the documents. The live phone call sits on its list as well. Both are appointments rather than uploads, so a deadline of two weeks can feel shorter than it reads. The five deadlines
Five operators write down the time you get once documents are requested. From shortest to longest:
- Rainbet, clause 20.1: 72 hours.
- Vave, clause 8.7: 14 days.
- Wild Fortune, clauses 8.4 and 9.3: two weeks for the documents, counted from the request.
- Rocketpot, clause 12.2: 30 calendar days.
- Metaspins, clause 9.10: 30 days.
The spread is wide. Three days leave little room for a bill that has to be downloaded, a selfie retaken or a call rescheduled, while a month leaves room for all of it. The deadline bars draw that difference to scale. A shorter clock is not a worse casino in itself; it is a reason to have the papers scanned before you play there at all.
Casino KYC documents with no list or no clock
Not every set of terms is that specific. Wolfbet's clause 5 §1 refers only to «KYC/AML documentation», which may be requested at any time. No individual papers are named and no deadline is given. Clause 5 §3 lets the account be frozen or closed until the documentation arrives, and 5 §2 lets funds be withheld on suspicion without informing the player.
Metaspins works the other way round: a deadline and a consequence in 9.10, but no item list in the documents table. Bitcasino.io, Bitsler and Thunderpick name their papers and set no time. Shuffle.com's clause 5.2 places a document check before the first withdrawal in any event, and the table leaves its papers as «—».
For the three ranked names without an identity clause on file, Jack.com, Wild.io and TrustDice, the cells stay «—». TrustDice appears here only through the editors' own account of May 2026. Its compliance team emailed a Veriff link; the driving licence uploaded there failed; only on the fifth upload was a passport let through, and a further email asking for documents followed some while later.
When the time runs out
Each of the five deadlines comes with a written result, and they are not alike:
- Rainbet (20.1): if the check is failed or refused, the funds are kept.
- Vave (8.7): closure of the account and confiscation of winnings; while the check is open, requests already pending can be put on hold or cancelled.
- Wild Fortune (8.4): the account is locked and the withdrawal request cancelled.
- Rocketpot (12.2): funds are frozen and play is restricted.
- Metaspins (9.10): withdrawals are withheld and the remaining balance can be confiscated.
The cards on this page show the five side by side. Two of them, Rocketpot and Wild Fortune, freeze or cancel. Three, Rainbet, Vave and Metaspins, allow money to be kept. That line, between a paused account and a lost balance, is the most important thing to read in any identity clause, and it is often a single sentence long. A checklist to finish before any request
Everything below can be done while no check is pending. Working through it once covers casino KYC documents at every operator on this list:

Rainbet's clause 20.1 gives 72 hours, and a failed or refused check means the funds are kept. Vave allows 14 days under 8.7 and Wild Fortune two weeks under 8.4 and 9.3. Rocketpot's 12.2 allows 30 calendar days and Metaspins' 9.10 allows 30 days. Bitcasino.io, Bitsler, Thunderpick and Wolfbet print no deadline for documents.
Why would a casino ask me to sign a message with my wallet?
Rocketpot's clause 11.8 lists it beside the ID and passport. A signed message shows that you control the address that funded an early deposit, without sending coins. You can only produce it if you still have access to that wallet, which is why keeping the deposit wallet is part of preparing, together with the same-wallet rule in 11.1.
What does Wolfbet ask for?
Its clause 5 §1 names only «KYC/AML documentation», requested at any time, with no list of individual papers and no deadline. Under 5 §3 the account can stay frozen, or be closed, until that documentation is in, and 5 §2 permits holding funds on suspicion with no notice to the player.
